Contributed to a book by conducting research on case studies and gathering real-world examples
Gelo is a human-centered design studio in Belgium, renowned for creating (public) spaces that prioritise people’s needs. In 2025, I had the opportunity to join their team for three months. During this time, my contributions included:
Conduct desk research on the 15 topics covered in the book Op Mensenmaat, looking for best practices around the world.
Carrying out field research, including journey mapping, user interviews, and observations for other projects related to the public sector
Preparing content for social media
Contributing to creative thinking and ideation
Results
One of my tangible accomplishments is the publication of the book Op Mensenmaat, to which I contributed in its development, including the content, best practices and layout.
Apart from the book, I have also expanded my expertise in digital user research, applying it to the design of spaces and services for real projects in the healthcare and public sectors.
