Designing a digital dashboard for winter sports enthusiasts with sustainability at its core
‘Where do the priorities lie? Can economic and ecological interests be reconciled? Is there interest in ecological ski resorts, just as there is now interest in organic food?
EcoSki is a digital dashboard created for wintersports. Wintersport will be never good for the nature but we can minimalise the impact.
Winter sports without impact do not exist, but you can limit the consequences by not skiing when there is little snow, respecting nature reserves when freeriding, or choosing a resort without snow cannons.
When are ski resorts environmentally friendly?
Electric public transport, car-free, electric snow cars, eco-friendly accommodation, wind energy, wind turbines, minimal use of artificial snow (snow cannons)
There are also certifications such as “Green Globe Ski Resorts”, “green ski areas” and Alpine Pearls.

If you select a skiresort on the map, you can see this information. Weather, all snow information and the green energy in the skiresort.
